A Project of Passion for Children in Need.

Why dolls?

To this day, I still have my most cherished stuffed animal. A Velveteen Rabbit. I took him everywhere with me - I can recall today so many occasions wherein this simple gift provided me with hours of play and most importantly, great comfort.

My first Doll Project:

When I was around the age of 11, my mom and I were involved in the most amazing project; we were part of a large group of people, each tasked with various responsibilities - all that would collectively bring the same kind of comfort to children in need by providing them with beautiful dolls.

If for one moment, these children smiled, felt happiness, comfort or joy because of the gifts we created - our work was worthy.

We worked so hard on this project and did it with much passion and love in our hearts. I recall the tediousness and stress it gave me as a child: I wanted everything to be perfect for them.

Finally, one day, we were done - - And through the giving of stunningly dressed and warmly wrapped dolls, in handmade blankets, each one in its own white, rocking crib - we brought joy to many children who had nothing.

I want to do that again.
So I started this project, "For The Luv of Dolls."

Right now, FTLOD is working with several groups that provide services to children in need, including but not limited to:

            - The Salvation Army (Community Services)
            - Children's Social...
